Job Description: Sales Account Executive / Technology Advisor
Location: Bloomington, MN
Hours: Full-time; M-F; 8 AM – 5 PM
DTS is seeking highly motivated, financially driven sales professionals to generate new business revenue in a zip code based territory in the Twin Cities metro area. In this role, you will be responsible for selling award-winning office technology and solutions including Copiers & Printers, Managed Services, VoIP Phone Systems and Document Management. Primary Responsibilities:
- Prospect and develop account relationships over the phone and in person to generate sales and maintain consistent growth of your client base and territory.
- Conduct product demonstrations to prospects and current clients. Build and maintain account information in the DTS database/CRM.
- Conduct face-to-face appointments with key decision makers.
- Effectively qualify prospects to place our product/solutions.
- Develop sales proposals and presentations for prospective and existing customers.
- Take responsibility for individual and team sales of technology solutions (hardware/software).
- Plan and track your activity with our CRM system.
- Negotiate and close sales.
Desired Skill Set:
- Experience in sales is preferred, however, will strongly consider individuals with the personal attributes and aptitude required to be effective in this role.

Job Title: Senior Systems Engineer
Location: Bloomington, MN
Hours: Full-time; M-F; 8:00 am – 5:00 pm
This position is responsible for the installation, support and maintenance of hardware and software solutions supported by DTS. Emphasis on this position will be server and network support. You will provide professional technical support of servers, networks, and desktops to our MSP clients. Support will be provided over the phone, via remote desktop and at the client site. You will work with and without direct supervision in the office and in the field to ensure superior customer service. The successful candidate will possess a diverse technical background with the expertise to support solutions that meet the technology requirements of our valued customers.
Duties include:
- Server, network, and desktop support via remote desktop and at the client site.
- Provide support of 3rd party software, including implementation and ongoing maintenance.
- Server, network and desktop hardware installation and configuration.
- Maintain a professional appearance and always promote a positive company image.
- Perform other reasonably related duties as assigned by immediate supervisor and other management personnel as required.
- Install, configure, test, and maintain operating systems, application software and system management tools.
- Manage and monitor all installed systems and infrastructure.
- Maintain security, backup, and redundancy strategies.
- Participate in the design of information and operational support systems.
- Liaise with vendors and other IT personnel for problem resolution.
Qualifications:
- 5+ years of professional experience.
- Azure and AWS experience is desired.
- Windows server operating system installation, configuration, and maintenance skills are desired.
- Firewall configuration, installation and maintenance skills are desired.
- Windows 10/11, Microsoft 365 support experience.
- Excellent customer service skills including an ability to follow-up to ensure closure of issues.
- A positive, customer service-oriented attitude.
- Ability to work individually and as a team.
- A+, N+, MCP or industry related certification is desired or equivalent professional experience.
Requirements:
- Constant use of computer including keyboard and mouse.
- Must be able to lift and carry 50 lbs. or less.
- Must be able to sit or stand for extended periods of time.
- Ability to position self under desks and in the server closet to maintain computers, servers and network hardware.
- Must be able to communicate clearly and effectively with customers.
- Strong documentation skills are a must.
- Must have a valid state driver’s license and appropriate insurance coverage.
