Job Description: Sales Account Executive / Technology Advisor
Location: Bloomington, MN
Hours: Full-time; M-F; 8 AM – 5 PM

DTS is seeking highly motivated, financially driven sales professionals to generate new business revenue in a zip code based territory in the Twin Cities metro area. In this role, you will be responsible for selling award-winning office technology and solutions including Copiers & Printers, Managed Services, VoIP Phone Systems and Document Management. Primary Responsibilities:

Job Title: Systems Engineer / IT Specialist

This position is responsible for the installation, support and maintenance of hardware and software solutions supported by DTS. You will provide professional technical support of servers, networks, and desktops. Support will be provided over the phone, via remote desktop and at the client site. The successful candidate will possess a diverse technical background with the expertise to support solutions that meet the technology requirements of our valued customers.

Duties include:

  • Server, network, and desktop support via remote desktop and at the client site.
  • Provide support of 3rd party software, including implementation and ongoing maintenance.
  • Server, network and desktop hardware installation and configuration.
  • Maintain a professional appearance and always promote a positive company image.

Job Description: VoIP Engineer
Location: Bloomington, MN
Hours: Full-time; M-F; 8:00 AM – 5:00 PM

We are looking for an experienced VoIP engineer to join our team to support our managed voice hosted platforms. This position will primarily be providing implementation and support for our managed cloud PBX services and will provide support for other managed IT systems and services as well. This is a customer-facing position, and the candidate must be able to work well in a fast-paced team environment. Must have a proactive attitude and be able to troubleshoot effectively in high-pressure situations. The ideal candidate will have experience working in a Managed IT Services environment. Must be able to effectively communicate and troubleshoot over the phone.

Duties include:

  • Meeting with internal peers and customers to determine VoIP and networking needs.
  • Provide prompt and accurate services with regards to status of Incident or Change requests to our customers.

  • Maintaining the system and responding to any technical issues.
  • Installing network hardware modules including IP and PBX communication servers.

  • Lead assigned VoIP projects from initial conversations to final completion.
  • Training non-technical employees on the use of the system.

Qualifications:

  • 3+ years of experience as a VoIP Engineer with a hosted or cloud pbx.
  • 1+ years of recent experience working in an MSP environment.
  • 3+ years of experience performing administrative tasks via the Linux command line.
  • Background in IT, Cyber-Security or in a Data Center environment.
  • Experience with system monitoring and automation.
  • Solid knowledge of networking as related to managed services and VoIP.
  • Experience in the design and planning of VoIP solutions for customers
  • Understanding of E911 Requirements for Kari’s Law, Ray Baum’s Act, etc.
  • Knowledge of SMS / 10DLC industry requirements.
  • Knowledge of STIR/SHAKEN.
