As part of our second quarter volunteer initiative, DTS employees contributed over 40 hours of time loading and unloading trucks, sorting donated goods, rolling linens and restocking shelves at Bridging in Bloomington, Minnesota. Bridging is a nonprofit organization serving the greater Twin Cities. They are the largest furniture bank in the United States. They are driven by volunteers and donations of furniture and household goods from the community. Bridging has furnished over 80,000 homes since 1987. To serve as many people in need as possible, they work with a network of over 150 referring agencies, including social services and nonprofit organizations who refer clients to them.
